But as far as we know, only Plantessence tests their oils with Heart Quest, which assesses heart rate variability. While this is not a mainstream medical test, it is an exciting new technology based on the understanding that the heart does not just go "bump bump," but beats in complex patterns as part of the body's overall communication system.
